Algunas relaciones entre ciencia y tecnología, evaluación tecnológica y la teoría del posicionamiento

Abstract

El presente artículo busca establecer algunas relaciones entre ciencia y tecnología junto con los planteamientos del construccionismo social, la teoría del posicionamiento y la evaluación tecnológica, sin pretender incursionar en el análisis del discurso propiamente dicho. En la primera parte se estudiarán las concepciones, las relaciones y las diferencias entre ciencia y tecnología en relación con los procesos educativos en que están inmersas. En la segunda parte del artículo se expondrán las ideas principales de lo que es la evaluación tecnológica y su incidencia en la definición de políticas de desarrollo e innovación tecnológicos. Lo anterior se presenta según el marco de la teoría del posicionamiento como un fundamento de tal evaluación. En la tercera y cuarta partes se pretende relacionar la teoría del posicionamiento con el contexto educativo, en particular con las relaciones propias de las prácticas educativas en la formación tecnológica.

The following article will try to establish some relationships between science and technology together with the approaches of social constructionism, positioning theory and technology assessment; without pretending to focus in the analysis of discourse itself. Concepts, relationships and differences between science and technology will be studied in the first section, in relation to educational processes. The second part of the article will show the main ideas of what technology assessment is, as well as its impact on the definition of development policies and technological innovation. The above presented information is based on the positioning theory framework as a basis for such evaluation. In the third and fourth section the intention is to relate the theory of positioning with the educational context, particularly with the relationships of educational practices in technological training. From this point of view it is expected to explain the benefits of this theory with the development of this doctoral thesis which I am currently working on.
