Diagnóstico de condiciones de seguridad y salud en el trabajo del sector turístico de la ciudad de Yopal

Abstract

El Sector turístico y de la Ciudad de Yopal presenta algunas características espe ciales dentro de las que se destacan, las siguientes: la actividad turística enfoca da como fuente de ingresos que contribuye al crecimiento económico de la región y la percepción que tiene el empleador al implementar estrategias de mejora a las condiciones de seguridad y salud como un gasto que disminuye la rentabili dad de la prestación del servicio, existe informalidad del sector turístico en la contratación por tareas y no existe afiliación a ARL y EPS, el grado de capacitación que tienen las personas que ofrecen servicios turísticos es mínimo, las condicio nes de seguridad y salud en el trabajo generan condiciones laborales que pueden afectar a los actores, las condiciones de salud pública por ser zona endémica requieren de un sistema que responda frente al tratamiento de enfermedades endémicas en el sector turismo. La metodología de trabajo se enfoca en obtener el consolidado de las condicio nes de seguridad y salud en el trabajo del sector turístico del municipio de Yopal, a través de un enfoque mixto, la elaboración de un estudio de tipo descriptivo transversal, en el cual se hace un análisis en un punto de tiempo dado de la infor mación contenida en los estudios de caracterización elaborados con el fin de identificar y describir las variables relacionadas con las características sociode mográficas y condiciones de seguridad y salud en el trabajo en las empresas del sector turístico de la ciudad de Yopal.

The tourist sector and the City of Yopal have some special characteristics, among which the following stand out: The tourist activity focused as a source of income that contributes to the economic growth of the region and the perception that the employer has when implementing strategies to improve health and safety condi tions as an expense that decreases the profitability of their service provision. There is informality of the tourist sector in the hiring of tasks and there is no affiliation to RLA and EPS. The level of training that people have who offer tourist services are minimal. The conditions of health and safety at work generate working conditions that can affect all those involved. The public health conditions for an endemic zone require a system that responds to the treatment of endemic diseases in the tourism sector. The methodology focuses on obtaining the consolidated health and safety condi tions at work in the tourism sector in the municipality of Yopal, through a mixed approach. The elaboration of a cross-sectional descriptive type of study, in which an analysis is made at a given point in time of the information contained in the characterization studies prepared in order to identify and describe the variables related to sociodemographic characteristics and health and safety conditions at work in the companies of the tourism sector in the city of Yopal.
